About Us

We were born out of the desire to give our great area an identity. A nickname people would remember. An idea that could translate onto a bumper sticker, a t-shirt, a coffee cup, and whatever else.

Why let Key West (the Conch Republic) or the Outer Banks (OBX) have all the fun? The Chesapeake region deserves its’ own nickname, our own stupid bumper stickers and t-shirts. We deserve Crab Nation.

All over the world—from Budapest to Timbuktu, when people think of the Chesapeake region, they’re gonna say, “Dude (maybe they won’t say dude) isn’t that the Crab Nation - Peace, Love and the Chesapeake.”

Spread the word. Email everyone you know—even your grandparents. We’re well on our way to getting this Crab Nation thing a household word. We know our products have made it to Italy, California and Crisfield, but there’s a lot of territory in between we have yet to conquer! Skeptics beware—laugh now, but you’ll see. We’re not gonna stop till we get our name in lights.
